Training Schedule
Below are the key sessions each day in a typical weekly schedule during the school year (subject to change (the schedule below is confirmed for Fall 2024)). None of our training sessions are mandatory. If you can't make it to practice, but still want to do the workout, many teammates are in the same position, so it is easy to find friends to do the workout with later in the day. There are also second sessions several days per week. Some of these will be coached and are typically light runs with strides or an easy spin. Our winter training is race specific with hard blocks in between races and easier weeks leading up to them. Below is a sample training week.
Monday: 6:30 AM Swim (Rec Cen Pool)
Tuesday: 7 AM Endurance Run (Meet in Front of Rec Cen)
Wednesday: 7 AM Bike (Meet in Front of Rec Cen), 6:30 PM Swim (Rec Cen Pool)
Thursday: 7 AM Track Run (Meet at the Track)
Friday: 6:30 AM Swim (Rec Cen Pool)
Saturday: Brick or Long Ride (Meet in Front of Rec Cen, Time TBD)
